Belgium-based electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider Connect Group has announced the launch of Connect Group USA Inc., a major strategic move that marks its official entry into the U.S. market. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the new entity will house a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility focused on assembly, module building, and after-sales services.
The plant, expected to be fully operational by the fourth quarter of 2025, signals Connect Group’s commitment to deepening its global footprint and responding to surging customer demand for U.S.-made, locally supported manufacturing solutions.
“This expansion reflects Connect Group’s commitment to bringing services closer to its clients and to supporting the increasing demand for products made in America,” said Jeroen Tuik, CEO of Connect Group. “By establishing a physical presence in the U.S., we’re not just entering a new market, we’re strengthening our global capabilities and aligning more closely with customer needs.”
Connect Group USA will serve as a full-service manufacturing and support centre, incorporating assembly, module integration, testing, production centre operations, and a dedicated customer focus centre. The site will also drive sales and test development efforts, positioning the company to offer end-to-end support for clients across the Americas.
The company’s expansion into Georgia reflects a calculated decision. The state’s robust infrastructure, extensive transportation networks, and skilled labor force made it an attractive choice for launching U.S. operations.

“Georgia offers an ideal environment for scaling advanced manufacturing quickly and efficiently,” Tuik added. “It allows us to stay agile and competitive, while providing high-quality, responsive services to customers in North and South America.”
The move comes at a time when global supply chains are shifting, and companies are rethinking the balance between offshore production and regional proximity. Connect Group’s decision to establish a U.S. base not only aligns with broader re-shoring trends, but also responds to growing preferences among customers for local manufacturing, faster delivery cycles, and greater supply chain resilience.
The Atlanta facility will mirror the company’s hallmark operational flexibility, which has been a defining feature of Connect Group’s global sites. This approach enables rapid adaptation to market changes and evolving customer requirements, key advantages in today’s fast-paced, innovation-driven manufacturing environment.
Connect Group’s entry into the U.S. underscores its broader strategic vision: to deliver high-quality, customised EMS solutions on a global scale, while maintaining close connections with local markets. With operations already spanning multiple countries in Europe and now extending into North America, the company is reinforcing its role as a trusted international partner for complex electronics manufacturing.
As the new U.S. facility gears up for its Q4 2025 launch, Connect Group is poised to offer enhanced service levels, faster turnaround times, and stronger customer engagement, hallmarks of its mission to bring global quality with a local touch.
