The Angola Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition 2026 takes place from 9 to 10 September at the Talatona Convention Center in Luanda, bringing together international energy leaders, investors, government representatives and industry experts.
Now in its seventh edition, the event is expected to attract more than 3,000 delegates, 430 companies and 115 ministers and VIP speakers. Held under the official patronage of the Angolan government, the conference provides a platform for discussions around the future of the country’s energy sector and its role in attracting international investment.
A key focus this year is Angola’s ambition to secure up to $70 billion in upstream oil and gas investment over the next five years. Discussions will cover opportunities across the country’s oil and gas basins, alongside strategies for developing infrastructure, increasing production and unlocking further investment.
The three-day programme combines technical workshops, executive leadership discussions, investment meetings and an exhibition showcasing energy technologies, projects and services. Topics include upstream development, midstream infrastructure, gas projects, exploration technology and the use of digital solutions to improve energy operations.
The conference also provides an important setting for international companies and investors to establish partnerships and explore commercial opportunities within Angola’s growing energy market.
With government officials, major energy companies, financiers and technology providers all represented, AOG 2026 reflects Angola’s efforts to strengthen its position as an attractive destination for energy investment and long-term industry development.
