Onecom Technology Group has launched the next generation of its Vox voice platform, combining deepfake call detection, identity verification, recording, transcription and AI-powered call intelligence within a single system.
The company says the rebuilt platform has been designed to help businesses respond to increasingly sophisticated voice fraud while also extracting greater value from customer conversations.
Vox can alert users in real time when synthetic speech is detected during a call and can identify known callers using unique voice biometric fingerprints.
Alongside its security capabilities, the platform analyses call records to provide businesses with actionable intelligence, including identifying missed sales opportunities, highlighting customer trends and helping teams improve productivity.
Aaron Brown, CEO of Onecom Technology Group, said: “As voice fraud becomes more sophisticated, we wanted to give businesses practical tools to detect threats while also helping them get more value from every customer conversation through a system that learns from calls, providing businesses with intelligence they can act upon to improve productivity.
“Vox brings these features together with world-class SIP services, recording, transcription and summarising services and provides them all through one platform, eliminating the complexity of managing multiple services.”
The technology is delivered through SIP trunk internet voice infrastructure and uses a bespoke large language model developed in-house by Onecom.
Vox is platform agnostic and can work alongside Onecom’s Wave platform as well as communications services including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Five9.
The platform also integrates with Halo Communicate, Onecom’s agentic AI voice solution, which enables businesses to deploy and manage digital workers such as virtual receptionists.
The Vox platform is made up of a number of separately licensed services.
Vox Record provides call recording with retention periods of 12, 36, 60 or 84 months, along with stereo playback and an audit trail showing who has accessed or downloaded recordings.
Vox Insights adds transcription and AI-generated call summaries, while Vox Protect analyses calls for synthetic speech and can issue alerts while conversations are still taking place.
Vox Verify uses voice biometrics to confirm caller identity, Vox Live provides live call transcription, and Vox vPhishing allows organisations to test how employees respond to simulated cloned-voice phishing attacks.
Onecom describes the combination of these capabilities within a single platform as a world-first.
The platform is hosted in the UK on Google Cloud and is covered by ISO 27001, ISO 22301 and Cyber Essentials accreditations.
The latest version of Vox is available to Onecom customers now and is expected to be made available to Onecom Partners resellers during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Onecom Technology Group provides business communications and IT services to more than 65,000 UK businesses.
